What is Life Coaching?
Coaching is a positive process which empowers the individual to realize their full potential and achieve their goals.
A life coach is a professional who helps clients achieve their personal and professional goals – achieving your ideal weight, finding a soul mate, landing a dream job, growing a business, working through personal and/or relationship issues. Sometimes people are not clear what exactly they want. Life coaching provides them with guidance on how to make decisions at various crossroads in life.
Life coaching offers no magic bullets or quick-fixes. It relies on principles of positive psychology and empowers clients to generate lasting transformation. It takes time to build physical muscles and, similarly, a life coach helps to build clients’ mental muscles so they can think differently and approach life more effectively. Clients will gradually develop the strength to face any challenges in life with ease and grace.
How does life coaching differ from traditional therapies?
Coaching and therapies work with different paradigms. Of course, each practitioner works differently but therapy tends to treat past emotional issues while coaching considers that clients are healthy, and focuses on where they are now, where they want to be, and how to get there. In general, coaching is more action-oriented.
How do you help your clients?
My coaching is all about following your own unique path. I help you discover what excites you, what is meaningful to you and what has been holding you back. Together we design a personalized action plan to help you move forward and stay on track.
I provide guidance, support, tools, and feedback. Accountability is a key element here. Research shows that people are much more likely to complete a task when they are held accountable for the results.
To me, coaching is an intimate, synergetic partnership. By combining intuitive perceptivity with cutting-edge coaching techniques, I help you shift your awareness and connect with a deeper sense of purpose. This will inspire you to take actions leading to sustainable changes.
What happens during a life coaching session?
We start by taking stock of your current situation and clarify your vision. I ask questions designed to challenge your assumptions, encourage your own insights and explore your options. I incorporate various exercises and meditation to facilitate the state of mindfulness. Once your goals and anticipated milestones have been defined, you will make a commitment to taking specific action steps before we meet next. We will then review the progress and make necessary adjustments until you reach your desired results.
New clients usually start with a 3-month commitment. Sessions last 60-90 minutes(depending on the client on the day) and are held biweekly. We will meet in person if you live in the area, otherwise, we can meet over the phone or Skype from anywhere in the world.
The Email Coaching Package
Email coaching is very simple. You can purchase online via PayPal and then, you simply write me an email, list your overall topic in the ‘Subject’ line. Within the body of the email, describe a situation in your life, ask a specific question, and I write an email response back within 72 hours that is specifically curated to and for YOU.
The email coaching package is
UNLIMITED during a period of one month – €60
With each email, we can jump from one topic to another or can further explore the present topic. You choose! Also, each email response addresses a single issue or question, even if there may be multiple sides to it.
What is Email Coaching?
As a Certified Professional Coach and Certified Life Coach, I can help you handle relevant issues in your social life, boost your career, your relationships, or your life as a whole.
All of us lead very busy lives and even one simple email, with the right words or the right ideas at the right time, can put you on the right path and turn your life around.
Email coaching is available as a great alternative to in-person or phone coaching, and its fees are much more affordable. NOTE: Email coaching is included in my other coaching packages, or as a standalone service with its own fees.
How does Skype coaching work?
Skype is a software and it can be downloaded free from http://www.Skype.com. Using Skype allows you to make free calls over the internet. It is very much like talking on the telephone.
Benefits of telephone and Skype coaching :
It provides a focused conversation. Without visual distractions.
Because you’re being heard and not seen, you may feel more comfortable discussing your problems. People are usually more open
coaches and their clients are able to “hear” the conversation in a deeper way. certain things over the phone versus in person.
You don’t spend time traveling if you choose telephone or Skype coaching. Neither you nor your coach will have to overcome the frustrations or the delays and hassles of traveling.
The chances that you and your ideal coach will be within reasonable travel distance are extremely low. With telephone or Skype coaching, you will be able to select from coaches located almost anywhere in the world. Restricting your search geographically will greatly reduce the odds of finding just the right fit for you. By eliminating geographic restrictions, you can be matched with a coach that best meets your needs – not the closest coach but the best coach.
You can be more flexible in the times you receive coaching. Some clients have very busy schedules and they are only available late evenings and early mornings. If you don’t have time for a session during the working day, telephone coaching or Skype coaching is ideal for you.
Telephone coaching is very convenient. You will be able to receive coaching in any location you wish as long as you have a phone (or a laptop and internet connection for Skype).
Telephone or Skype coaching is less costly as you will not have to pay for the travel expenses and the fee is also cheaper than that of a face-to-face meeting.
If you still prefer to see your coach (and your coach to see you), you can use Skype and connect via the webcam feature. Most new laptops have built in web cameras and microphones. If your computer doesn’t have that feature, the equipment is inexpensive to buy.
The Advantages of Email Coaching:
You will find standalone email coaching particularly useful for you if you identify yourself in one or more of these scenarios:
* You have one or more very specific issues you want expert assistance with
* You want basic-level but continuous personalized support from me in developing relevant people skills or attitudes;
* You don’t want to make a big financial commitment but you still want to get a lot of bang for your buck.
In addition to this, many people are attracted to email coaching for one or more of the following benefits:
As a standalone service, it is less expensive and easier to use than coaching via phone, or face to face;
You can email me anytime you want during the period your coaching package is available (1, 2 or 3 months) and I’ll respond within 72 hours; It may feel a lot more comfortable to talk via email, using written words and it encourages many people to open up more;
Both you and I have plenty of time to think before you put your thoughts into words and send an email;
You get very clear and relevant answers which you can put into action. There is no extra fluff, no superfluous conversation.
You can save all the emails, reread and reuse them anytime you want to get inspired or get practical insights.
There are a few more things I think it’s important for you to know about the way I do coaching by email:
I focus on helping you get real results. With your context and needs. I don’t rehash information, I don’t provide general advice. I’ll send you my official, paid email response.
I offer practical advice, step-by-step strategies and high-quality guidance which you can immediately start applying.
Responding to emails from clients in a timely manner is a priority for me. I typically answer every email from a client within 72 hours and at times even within a couple of hours.
With an email response, I may include attachments or links to additional resources.
